My Top 10 Couple Getaways

I’m excited to share my top 10 most romantic luxury escapes, a collection of destinations that I believe capture the perfect balance of luxury, intimacy, and connection.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how our digital lives can sometimes pull us away from what really matters, like our relationships. It inspired me to put together a handpicked list of luxury hotels that I’ve personally dealt with. These aren’t just beautiful places to recharge, they’re spaces that help you reconnect with the people you care about most. Each property features private suites or villas designed for intimacy, quiet, and unforgettable moments together.

1. Amanera (Dominican Republic) This is part of the famous Aman brand, so you know the architecture and service will be incredible. It sits on a high cliff over the ocean. The rooms are separate little houses with glass walls, and many have their own pools with a lot of privacy. It is very quiet and right next to a great golf course. For kosher food, they have one of the most robust kosher programs in the Caribbean with a separate kitchen and full-time mashgiach.

2. Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort (Punta Mita, Mexico) This is the most exciting new opening in Mexico. It is an adults-only sanctuary with only 15 luxury tents, so it feels completely private. Each tent has a massive deck with a private plunge pool. It is “all inclusive” in the best way, meaning your meals, drinks, and even spa treatments are included. It feels wild and free, but you still have full access to the main Four Seasons resort next door. Additionally, the head chef can accommodate kosher requests.

3. Hotel Esencia (Riviera Maya, Mexico) This hotel made it into the world’s 50 best hotels list. This used to be the private home of an Italian duchess, and it still feels like staying at a wealthy friend’s beach estate. It sits on the best white sand beach in the area, far away from the busy hotels. The design is super chic, and the vibe is very exclusive. It’s a 25-minute drive from many of the kosher restaurants in Playa del Carmen.

4. COMO Parrot Cay (Turks & Caicos) If you want total silence and turquoise water, this is the place. It is a private island, so you take a boat to get there. We would book you into a beach villa, which comes with its own private pool right on the sand. The spa is one of the best in the world. The service here is incredible, you will have your own private butler who takes care of every detail.

5. Little Palm Island (Florida Keys) This is the only private island resort in the US, and it looks incredible after a big renovation. You arrive by boat or seaplane. There are no phones allowed in public, so you can truly unplug. The bungalows are romantic and feature deep outdoor copper soaking tubs on your private deck.

6. Soneva Jani (Maldives) This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a playground for adults. It defines “barefoot luxury”—they literally take your shoes when you arrive so you can ground yourself. The “Wow” Factor: The water villas are iconic—most have their own water slide that goes right into the lagoon. Plus, the roof above your bed retracts with the push of a button so you can sleep under the stars. This is the place to go if you need to disconnect from reality completely. The “No News, No Shoes” policy works wonders for your headspace.

7. Rosewood Las Ventanas al Paraíso (Los Cabos, Mexico) Why I love it: This place defines pampering. They literally have a “Department of Romance” just to help plan surprises for your partner. Every suite has a butler, and the best ones have stunning infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The service here is intuitive; they know what you need before you ask. If you want to feel like royalty for a few days, this is the place.

8. The Ritz-Carlton Masai Mara (Kenya) At this brand new Ritz Carlton, if you want an adventure without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The “Wow” Factor: You can watch hippos in the river while soaking in the private whirlpool on your deck. It’s magical. The culinary team creates miracles in the middle of the bush. It’s rugged outside, but five-star dining inside.

9. Borgo Santandrea (Amalfi Coast, Italy) Why I love it: This is the first new luxury hotel on the Amalfi Coast in 15 years. It hangs on a cliff over the sea and has a rare private beach club, which is like gold dust in Italy. The Premium Pool Suites have insane views. The breakfast alone, overlooking the sea, is worth the trip. It’s a flawless mix of Italian hospitality and modern design.

10. One&Only Mandarina (Riviera Nayarit, Mexico) This is for the couple that wants something cool and different. You stay in chic treehouses high in the jungle canopy. Every single room comes with its own plunge pool. It feels wild but incredibly luxurious, perched high above the ocean. It’s dramatic, beautiful, and totally unique.

I Know You’re Swamped!
